- WhiteSmoke features the most sophisticated grammar engine available
in software. Complex grammar algorithms are based on a combination of
Standard English grammar rules and Natural Language Processing (NLP)
research, and are further enhanced by statistical information derived
from mistakes made by our users. This combination of data gives very
accurate grammar detection and correction that is optimized for real
life writing mistakes.

Writing Tools Menu
The new Writing Tools Menu, activated by right-clicking any word in the
main WhiteSmoke window, enables our users to get all the information
they need to make sure they are using the word properly. The new menu
includes:
- A Thesaurus: a list of synonyms
- Enrichment: A unique feature which enables the user to
enrich his or her text by adding adjectives or adverbs that match the
selected word
- Usage information: Includes usage examples -sample
sentences that demonstrate how to properly use the word in a
sentence, and a list of prepositions that are used with this
word.

Email Checker
WhiteSmoke email checker is a one-of-a-kind tool that checks each email
before it's sent, and prevents the user from sending emails with errors.
Writing Review
Working alongside WhiteSmoke Writer's grammar, spelling, and style
suggestions, Writing Review gives an analysis of other text-wide
factors, such as passive verb frequency, average sentence length,
complex word use, and more. Based on these factors and grammar,
spelling, and style issues, the text is given an overall score, as well
as improvement suggestions.
Letter Templates
Our document templates include samples of business letters, cover
letters, resumes, legal writing, personal matters, finance writing and
student matters. The templates are available from the 'Templates' tab
at the top bar of the WhiteSmoke window.
